COMMENTS
A much needed improvement over the original DROID, with its super rolly core and Pearl cover the Pearl DROID is a sure winner. Reminds me allot of the original Time Bomb, with its length and driving power. While the Time Bomb is snappier at the break point, the Pearl DROID gets a rolling and look out PINs... Very good on medium conditions, and doesn't burn up quickly like the original DROID would w/o a flood of oil. Time will tell, but I'm thinking the Pearl Droid might just be your next Benchmark ball...

Bowler Style: Cranker
Ball Speed: 18 mph
Rev Rate: 500

Dual Angle Layout Drilling: 50 x 3 7/8" x 62 Pin Down

The new Lane #1 Pearl Droid compliments the original Droid well. There are many comparisons between the 2 balls, however The Pearl Droid gives the bowler more length down lane when the oil breaks down. The Pearl Droid reads friction later than the original Droid, but is much more angular off the break point. However consistant to the original Droid little to none over/under reaction. The Pearl Droid has a very easy to read ball reaction and gets into a strong roll and drives continuously through the pocket. Both Droids have similar overall hook, the Original Droid has an early, strong arcing backend motion, and the Pearl Droid has a long, strong angular backend motion. I highly recommend using this ball on medium to heavy oil patterns and makes a good benchmark ball for most league conditions.
